The LESA laser electronic spectrum analyzer allows to define locally photosensitizer’s incorporation rate in any patient's organs available for fiber-optics probe. The device can be used in the course of photodynamic therapy for intracavitary, interstitial, and superficial tumors.
Optical specifications of the device are optimal for its use in photodynamic therapy with different photosensitizers and for intrinsic fluorescence’s measurement of biological tissues also.
The powerful software gives the possibility to compare incorporation rate of drug in lesion organs with a standard or healthy tissue. Convenient means for monitoring and the analysis of accumulation dynamics of drug are provided for.
The device consists of the LHN633-25 He-Ne laser source for photosensitizer excitation and the PC-based small-type universal spectrometer for registration and analysis of fluorescent signal.
The system can be made in the case with the touch screen and the protected keyboard according to the DIN41494 standard for mounting into the 19" rack.
